![]() ![]() ![]() Starflight was against the idea of using Sunny's magic to turn Glory into a SkyWing, mostly because of how it would draw suspicion from the guardians, though he does consider her to be a fellow Dragonet of Destiny in spite of the fact that she's a RainWing. However, when Glory failed the dragonets' animus test, he couldn't help but feel relieved due to overhearing her thoughts about enchanting Dune's dinner to eat him. Starflight and Glory seem to love each other like siblings or friends. Starflight considers Clay's thoughts about food to be "a surprisingly comforting white noise". Starflight and Clay are good friends, having known each other since hatching, and could almost be brothers. When Sunny's powers were discovered, he was left in shock along with his friends. Starflight was the fourth to try, but failed to get his rock to move. After the idea was presented to their friends, they agreed to participate, and Tsunami gave each of them a rock. Later, when the dragonets were three, Starflight overheard Tsunami's thoughts about performing a test to see if any of the dragonets have animus magic. He was raised by the guardians: Kestrel, Dune, and Webs, along with the other dragonets - Clay, Tsunami, Glory, and Sunny. Wings of fire starflight and sunny full#Starflight then hatched under the three full moons, thus giving him the powers of mind-reading and future seeing. Unlike most of the other dragonets, his egg was not stolen, but given to the Talons of Peace by the NightWings hence the line in the prophecy "Wings of night shall come to you." His egg was later brought outside, along with the others, to hatch in the moonlight under Dune's suggestion. Starflight was given to the Talons of Peace as an unhatched egg by Morrowseer, the NightWing prophet who delivered the Dragonet Prophecy. Experiences with his mind-reading have taught him to be more aware of what other dragons are thinking, and he is often worried about the future. He is talented at memorizing things and repeating those facts when he believes they'd be useful. He tries to know everything so that he may be useful, and wants to be brave. Despite lacking in fighting skills, he is determined and willing to fight for his friends. Starflight's personality remains largely the same as his canon counterpart - he is hesitant, sensible, anxious, indignant, and a know-it-all. He has a silver teardrop scale on the outside corner of each of his green eyes, which signify his status as a mind-reader. The silver scales on the underside of his wings spray outward, like a splash of water. Starflight has midnight-black scales with glints of deep blue in them. ![]()
